I first found out about this book from a roleplayer I met in Twitter. She likes reading too, and recommended me to read this book. At first, I wasn't convinced because it's been so long since I read and it's kinda hard for me to find a book I can truly say I like. I mostly read them halfway and sort of abandon them afterwards lmao. Anyhow, I downloaded it (too poor to buy real books) and decided to give it a try. Guess what, I CAN'T STOP READING. I insist that you guys give this book a try. Really. READ. IT.

So this book tells the story of two childhood friends who lost their memories and together, they try to make sense of their situation and find out why this is happening to them. Don't want to tell you guys too much, especially for those who hates being spoiled lmao. As you can already see, it's written by two authors so you actually get to read from two different perspectives and I like how both the authors managed to alternate in between characters seamlessly. I wrote a joint novel with a friend before and trust me, it's hard to draw a fine line between the two perspectives and make it understandable. It's fast-paced, but not too fast that you lose the details and plot of the story. The way the author wrote it keeps you guessing, 'What's next?' and just when you think you know what's going on, BAM. A surprising plot twist. Honestly, I would say this book is a bit Gone Girl-ish but then it's not really Gone Girl-ish too. It's the same but different too. So for you guys who love Gone Girl, try this book.
The only complain I have about this book is how the authors leave you hanging. But then I found out that a second book is going to be published in early May. So now I can only wait patiently till it comes out.
